Choose a show, turn up the brightness and lay your phone screen-down on a safe, stable surface. Bright bands around the screen cast colour onto the surface.

No. Originals work on one phone. Duo is optional: both phones need the Underglow app and the same Wi-Fi network.

Live mode analyses sound on your device. It does not store or upload microphone audio, except as part of a video you choose to record and save on your device.

Shows contain bright and flashing lights. Avoid high-energy shows if you or anyone nearby is sensitive to flashing lights. Reduced flashing is available in Look. Stop using the app if you feel unwell.

Get ringtones in the Ringy app. Underglow adds light shows to the sounds.

Check that both phones have Underglow open, are connected to the same Wi-Fi, and have local-network access enabled. Duo linking is available in the native apps, not the web sampler.

The microphone lets the lights react to sound around you. Permission is optional; you can use the built-in shows without it.

Turn reminders off in the app or in your device notification settings. Reminders are scheduled locally; no push server is used.
