Skip your next iPhone wake-up alarm and keep your sleep schedule
Open Clock → Alarms and tap Change beside your Sleep | Wake Up alarm. Under Alarm Options, turn off Alarm, tap Done, then choose Change Next Alarm Only. Your recurring sleep schedule keeps its usual settings for the following wake-up.

Skip one morning
Say you have Friday off but want your usual Monday alarm. In Clock → Alarms, find the wake-up time attached to your sleep schedule. Check that the next wake-up shown is the one you mean to skip.
- Tap Change beside the wake-up time. Scroll to Alarm Options.
- Switch Alarm off. Leave the schedule itself enabled in Health.
- Tap Done and choose Change Next Alarm Only. Choosing Change This Schedule applies the edit to the recurring schedule.
Sleep later instead of skipping the alarm
On the same Change screen, keep Alarm on and drag the alarm end of the arc to the later time. Dragging the whole arc also moves bedtime. Check the displayed wake-up time, tap Done and save the change for the next alarm only. You can return to this screen before bed to check the result.
Why is there no Change button?
These steps apply to a wake-up alarm from a sleep schedule set up in Health. If you added your alarm with the plus button in Clock, you have an ordinary alarm. Find that row under Alarms. If you switch off a repeating ordinary alarm for a day off, plan to turn it back on when you want it again. Check for other enabled alarms at nearby times as well. Editing Sleep | Wake Up affects only its own alarm.
If the sound is the reason you want to skip it
You can keep the wake-up time and change the alert. Under Alarm Options, open Sounds & Haptics to choose among the offered sounds or move the alarm volume slider. See the alarm volume guide for the controls on different iOS versions. To choose a new sound for an ordinary alarm, open Ringy and follow the custom alarm sound guide. The choices in the wake-up picker can differ.
